Unlike most of the blogs I stalk, my posts don't feature a lot of littles.
But I got to spend a few days with some pretty entertaining kiddies at Zion National Park this month.
Perhaps the best thing about my new friends are the parents they belong to
And to think we they used to look like this not long ago ...
A tremendous thanks to the Kimseys and all the wives who helped organize a Weekend of Destiny full of great memories.
If you look closely in this picture, you might find an army dude
Austin Collie was right. Magic happens ... when you wear a BYU T-shirt.

After three days in a lodge with my adopted families, I got to spend three days in a lodge with my Danley family (mom's side) in Altamont, Utah.
This was a perfect opportunity for my brother in-law to make good on my not-so-subtle request to go boating.
Clearly, the man came through.
Remember, this is a gaggle of golfers. I'd say we held our own against the afternoon waves.
After we ditched the motor-powered workout, Mom gave us the "Minute to Win it" workout.

You really ARE having a 'good life' this summer! I'm jealous of all of your recent travels/adventures.
ReplyDeleteThe coverage of the little tikes is phenomenal-- nice pics! I'm not sure your comment about the 'best thing about your new friends' is completely accurate, though. I think they hold their own from the looks of that first picture-- nice shades!
I really missed chillin' with you at the Danley reunion!!! Let's hope we actually make it to a family event this year-- for once!
Oh, we are living in Boston now, so come catch a Sox game when you have a few extra days to spare.
Love you, cuz.
Please have Marjean bring Minute to Win It games to next Weiler reunion. I'm going to smoke you all.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures from your summer adventures! It is wonderful that you have been able to keep in touch with so many of your high school friends.
ReplyDeleteLove the bag game is still going strong. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! YAYYYY :)
ReplyDeleteps. this is lisa weiler
It was great seeing you again and meeting Katie. We had a good time. I can't say I agree with the BYU comment, but I will let that slide. :) I'm glad you guys continued on to have a good week at your reunion. We have played those games with friends and they are sure funny.
ReplyDeleteA post on the 28th of July and no mention of what a wondrous day it is today?! Did I get the date wrong?!
